Sip the Tea and Find the truth

The Scribe’s Mandate

Lesson 1: The Kiln of the Wilderness

You are not reading this by accident. If you find yourself in a season of high heat, or if you are looking back at a past that felt like a wasteland, you need to understand that you are not being punished. You are being manufactured.

  1. The Purpose of Your Heat A vessel made of clay is useless until it goes through the fire. Before the fire, it’s soft, easily shaped, and easily broken. It cannot hold weight. It cannot carry water to the thirsty because it hasn’t been “set.”

My writing was born in a wilderness that most people only read about in books. I survived years on the streets, a reality that should have consumed me. I didn’t realize then that I was in a kiln. The homelessness and the silence were the high-heat moments meant to “set” my spirit.

God doesn’t waste heat. If the fire in your life is hot, it is because you are being prepared to hold something heavy.

“But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job 23:10

  1. Is Your Gift Decorative or Functional? The world is full of talented people, but talent is often just “decorative.” It looks good on a shelf, but it serves no purpose. An anointing, however, is functional.
  • Talent writes to be seen and admired.
  • Anointing writes to set the captive free.

My writing is not a hobby because it wasn’t born in a library; it was born in the dirt. When I speak to you from this place of Divine Wisdom, I am not sharing an opinion. I am releasing truth that I paid for with my life. You must decide today: Are you going to play with your gifts, or are you going to let the fire turn your talent into a mandate?

  1. Making the Vision Plain As a vessel of wisdom, I have a responsibility to you. I will not give you “cheesy” clichés or talk that doesn’t work when the lights go out. I am here to give you a map.

“Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” Habakkuk 2:2

We don’t write to sound religious. We write to make the way clear. If you are still in your “Gomorrah,” do not look back at what is burning. Look at the words being recorded for your exit. This is your invitation to stop wandering and start running toward what has been authored for you.

Your Response: The Call to Action

I am not here to entertain you; I am here to help you recognize the weight of what you carry. If you have been hiding from the fire or apologizing for your wilderness, it is time to stop. The Divine does not make mistakes with the clay.

  1. Identify the Kiln: Stop calling your struggle a “failure.” Acknowledge that this heat was not meant to destroy you, but to temper you for a sacred purpose.
  2. Move from Talent to Anointing: Decide right now that your fruit will be functional, not just beautiful. Your gift is for the benefit of the Kingdom.
  3. Join the Mandate: Leave a comment with the word “VESSEL” if you are ready to stop fighting the fire and start embracing the mandate.

The Activation: A Prayer

Divine Author of all things, my Elohim

We thank You for the fire. We thank You for the seasons that felt like a wasteland, because we now see they were the kiln where our strength was set.

I pray for the one reading this who feels like they’ve been consumed by the heat. Open their eyes to see that they are still standing. Let them realize that they didn’t survive by accident; they survived because they are a vessel prepared for a weight they haven’t yet felt.

I speak strength into their hands and clarity into their mind. Strip away the “decorative” parts of their life that serve no purpose. Replace their “hobbies” with a mandate. Replace their “talent” with a sharp, undeniable anointing.

Make their tongue, and their pen, like that of a ready writer. Let the words they record and the truths they live be a map for the generations coming after them. The wilderness is over. The mandate has begun.

Amen.
