Providing the Anchor

​My mission is to transform survival into stability. Having lived the reality of the streets, I know that the hardest part of being homeless isn’t just the lack of a roof—it’s the loss of a connection to the world. Through Blue Bag Foundation Inc. and the development of the Anchor Center, I am working to ensure that at-risk youth and young adults are no longer cast adrift.

At the Anchor Center, my mission is to provide the one thing the world often denies those without a home: a place to belong. By providing lockers with dedicated addresses, we are giving young people a vital foothold. This isn’t just a box for belongings; it is a gateway to an ID, a job, and a future. It is the literal “anchor” that holds them steady while they rebuild their lives.

​From Invisible to Indispensable

​I spent years navigating the world without a safety net, and I know the weight of being invisible. My mission is to use my foundation to advocate for the “invisible” youth in our community. By anchoring them to resources and providing a sense of permanency, we are helping them move from a state of constant flight to a state of purposeful growth.

​A Legacy of Stability

​My journey has come full circle. I am reaching back to the places I’ve been to plant seeds of hope. Through the Anchor Center, my mission is to prove that with the right support, the right resources, and a steady place to stand, anyone can navigate their way out of the storm and back into the heart of the community.

​My mission is simple: To provide the anchor I never had, ensuring that every young person has a secure place to keep their things, their identity, and their dreams.
