'God'Sip & Tea

Sip the Tea and Find the truth

Don’t Let Their Doubt Steal Your Assignment (Why Plan A is Non-Negotiable)

Hey, fam! Grab your favorite mug and pull up a chair because today we are spilling the real tea on something huge: Your Divine Assignment.

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about the Blue Bag Foundation. You know it’s a solo mission—every piece of paper, every late night, every single idea has come from one person (yours truly!). And honestly, that’s how I know it’s nothing but God. When the only consistent variable is His vision inside you, you know you’re on His clock.

The Sacred Mission is Only for You

Here’s the thing I want you to remember: Don’t ever question your Divine assignment.

The mission you have, that sacred, sometimes terrifying, mission, it was gifted only to you. It was shaped by your journey, what you went through, and the unique perspective you carry.

That’s your theological principle right there, straight from Ephesians 2:10:

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

You are the handiwork. The work was prepared for you.

When They Talk About Plan B

This is where the ‘sip’ comes in. Because people love to talk.

You make a decision, a bold, faith-filled decision, and suddenly, everyone with a opinion and a vision pops up: “Hey, hey, just in case, have you considered Plan B?” “Maybe you should slow down, make a Plan C.” “That seems too risky! What about a Plan D?”

Tell them, politely, “No.”

This is your dream, your goal, and ultimately, it is His Will. When God puts a “Plan A” in your spirit, you stand on it. You commit. Why?

Because when they start pushing Plan B, C, or D, that’s not wisdom. That’s just their uncertainty. That’s their own lack of faith, and their lack of faith is not your walk.

The Scripture warns us about this lack of clarity in James 1:6-8:

“But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.”

The Daily Grind: Mind Your Business

So how do we keep that faith from getting shaken? By staying laser-focused on the task at hand.

We need to mind our business. And I mean that literally. We need to become so consumed with the only business that matters, the one He gave us. That everything else falls away.

That means:

  1. Grow It: Actively nurture and expand the vision. Water the seed He planted.
  2. Study, Learn, and Apply: Never stop being a student of your craft and a student of His Word. Learn the skills you need, and then apply, apply, apply. Remember James 2:26: “As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.”
